April 1st is the beginning of the new fishing season. We are gearing up for a great time on the San Juan River and now is the time to get started by purchasing you fishing licence. As a veteran and a senior I appreciate getting a discount on my licence, even better is when you turn 70 it's free! Did you know that you don't have to go the the store to buy your licence? You can go the the New Mexico fish and game website and purchase your licence and print it as well. They also offer one day permits and non resident licenses.
